of Alan

Art Share L.A. is excited to announce the Los Angeles premiere of “of Alan” written by Shelby Brage and directed by Katie Oscar. 

In this original performance work by writer/performer Shelby Brage [Experimental Bitch Presents], the audience is immersed within the turbulent world of mid-life schizophrenic sex offender Alan. Set in the dark corners of sunny LA, the characters and the audience find their conceptions of normalcy violently destabilized. Touching poignantly - and painfully - on dilemmas of mental health, incarceration, attachment, and familial love, this piece upends notions of sanity with moving flair.
